Oh dear :(

Things don't always go as planned.  I took some rec leave from work and busied myself 'de-hoarding', and relaxing.. and didn't get ANYTHING done on my mini project.  Well.. this weekend I hope to achieve something - even if it's just ONE tiny thing I get completed.  Not sure what yet...

 I got a new position at work, so am dead tired, I now start work at 4am which means a divided sleep - the new job is very physical and if I don't 'keep moving' it will ruin this old body completely LOL - my aim now is to keep up the physical work over the weekend so I don't seize up!

Dead tired tonight and it's only 7pm - will get a good night's sleep and hope that tomorrow, I can do things *I* want to do instead of what I have to do... a day for me..  *fingers crossed*

I'm working on a few things, 'some' pics have been taken but I don't wish to upload them YET.. till the finished products can be displayed. I'm working on a few things at a time.. giving them the necessary breaks they require for drying/setting etc...

Also attempting to dress my heidi doll - she is soo pretty!!!

I AM going to make something this weekend!!

Yes.. this is my vow to myself. 

Too much work and not enough play!!

Gosh - been quiet haven't I... nothing has been done.  I have ebayed a bit.. and did manage to find a wheelie bin at the local grocery shop haha - it's so cute - full of sherbert that I will have to devour before turning it into a piece for my house.

My long hours are over (as are the big dollars *sob*) and I'm back to part time - perhaps NOW I can get some work done on my house - and start creating some wonders.  I have 2 weeks leave coming up at the end of
February too.  Right now though - am concentrating on getting my pool clean, keeping house, and feeding the family.  Neverending..

But.. I'm still around, and still love miniatures.. in case anyone wondered!

Tough week - and a mystery??

Gosh.. I have done NOTHING :( Been a really tough week at work, long hours and not a lot of time for myself.  One of my posties got bitten by a dog.. not once, but twice.. and the dog owner got nasty on my courtesy call to ask him to restrain the dog.. and came in and plonked said harmless dog on the counter - MUZZLE in place - demanding to see me and have a piece of me.. ongoing investigation as he has now dissappeared - and the issue has been handed over to the local council to deal with.  NO regard whatsoever towards my injured staff member! GRRRR - drama after drama this week.. and a huge lack of staff so I'm pretty tired :(  In fact got home tonight and fell asleep as soon as I got in the door!

Tonight it's hot.. and I still have no desire to create!  After work today I went to pick up my mail from the post office and got home with 2 parcels.

One was something I'd ordered.. and the other one.. I have NO idea where it came from.. HMMMMM....
It contained miniatures - and I was bewildered.. had I ordered them?  I went to all the sites I visit and buy from - NO...

 I am suspicious.. ;-) The package wasn't addressed the same as it would be.. if I'd ordered it and paid with paypal.. similar.. but not 'quite' the same - hmmmmm..... the plot thickens!!

Gorgeous surprise, I just love the items.. the little spice jars omg - they're adorable - and empty ones to fill myself - should get the creative juices flowing when I get some life back into me!

Yes, been slack  - hope Christmas was fun for everyone!  Finally did some work!  Firstly though - check out the goodies my beloved Sis-in-law sent over! Wow she has been busy - been hoping she would start a blog as there is much more than food on the go at her place! (c'mon Kerry BLOG!!)

Then there's the fireplace!  Found it on eBay - just fell in love with it - and started construction today - here it is so far:

But wait! There's more!! I also have some furniture kits !!  Making this one.. still need to clean up some bits here and there as you can see - but it's well under way!

 

Back to work tomorrow - so progress will slow again, 2 days of work then 4 more days off YAY!!!

Lost my mini mojo for a bit there :((

Haven't done anything really - attempted to make an armchair - it's still not finished.  Want to finish building my house so I can actually FINISH it completely. 
I had some surgery 2 weeks ago, perhaps it's about that, but it gave me the perfect opportunity to sit around and craft - and I achieved nothing!
Still watching everyone, still appreciating (and envying) everyones work!  MUST get back into it! Oh.. been ebaying again too LOL - not good!
I shall now attempt to be constructive.................
